We stayed at this hostel before we left for Lima's airport in the morning. Really neat hostel. Not really near very much in the city, but a great stop over hostel for the night. Rooms clean and comfortable. Accommodating for arriving late/ leaving early. -

Really a convenient location for overnight layovers from the airport. Friendly staff with tidy rooms. I'll certainly plan on staying there again when faced with arriving on a late night flight. -

The staff were extremely helpful. Quickly and efficiently, they arranged transportation for my trip the next morning to the mountains. We needed hostel close to airport. So this is really 5 minutes from airport and price is very good if I can compare another Lima's hotels. Was is very clean, comfortable and nice decorated. Hot water all the time and friendly staff. It was our last hostel after 1 month travelling... Among between these better hostal's in Peru. If you don't need acommodation in city center of Miraflores I can recommend it :)

The airport is very close so ideal for a 1 night stop over. Noise of planes overhead but unavoidable n didn't bother me. Staff were great, met me at airport despite delays n were very welcoming n helpful. Rooms clean. Recommend it! -

Very close (6 kms) to Lima airport, but still quiet. The staff was very helpful and arranged us pick ups and transports back to the airport on our 2 different stays for 10 USD per raid. They also could arrange an unexpensive but nice 4 hrs extempore city tour to Lima.

As a single female on my own, my hosts could not have made me feel more
comfortable. They even met my flight, having to take a taxi both ways to
airport. They loaned me their maps of Lima, ordered taxis as needed,
accomodated guests arriving at all times of day and night I probably
walked more around Lima than any previous guest did. Always looked
forward to hearing about my adventures. Would recommend they clarify if
toilet tissue should be put in garbage or in toilet, and to include a

Hotel Ginebra is a quite a fancy hotel for the money. It is very clean and quiet and has kind of a boutique feel. The free breakfast was great too. Really nice rooms. -

This hotel was a great place if you have a one night stop over in Lima as it is closer to the airport than miraflores but is in a safe part of town. It is very clean and nicely decorated with a good breakfast typical of Peru's tourist breakfast (rolls, eggs, fruit, juice, coffee etc).

The owners were ridiculously helpful. My Spanish was quite poor, so they
helped me call a cab from the street the first time so that I got the
hang of how it worked. They also contacted a bus company for me when I
couldn't make contact via email. I loved the breakfasts, the
security, the airport transfer (so nice and safe!), the proximity to
local convenience stores, the friendly welcome, and the price. I
wouldn't recommend Lima as a city, but I'd definitely recommend
this hostel.

Historical hotel with beautiful architecture is in a wonderful location.
We splurged with a suite with balcony. Food is excellent.Lots of hot
water/bathrooms very clean.Bed was comfortable but would have liked
a larger one. Slept well as noise level was low on our side of hotel.
Since we could not stay for breakfast, we were given a carry away bag.
Thought that was very nice. Look forward to returning to Lima and will
definitely stay at Gran Hotel Bolivar again.

I booked this hotel prior to a group trip through Peru. The hotel is perfectly situated right in the old city centre with all the important sites within a few minutes walking. As they have a night porter, I felt safe even at arriving at 4am on my arrival day. Other travelleres have commented on the noise coming from the street - if you want peace

Great location in central Lima. Walk to shops, restaraunts and great
people watching. Rooms were clean with a well stocked fridge. Other
reviewers had complained about the stairs and that was not a problem.
The doorman walked us down the street at 5:00 in the morning to get
us a taxi.
