  We loved this place in Franeker. It was just unique in every way. Right beside the canal with so many lovely old buildings that looked like they fell out of a post card. Beyond anything we even expected or hoped for. The perfect example of a historic Dutch town, even with moats and zig-zag canals.   We were travelling round Holland and there was a need to stop only for sleep late and early get up. All was perfect: shower,wc,hot water,soup, hair dryer( in 2 stars!), comfortable bed! Room was small but clean with TV. Comparing the price and comfort it was perfect. Of course,remember that its 2 stars not 5 but sometimes 4 stats are worse!
