Excellent location, all the attractions/places to visit are within 5-10 mins walk of the hotel. A canal tour and coffee shop are situated right outside the door.
We had the double room with private bathroom, very spacious and comfortable. Also a little rooftop terrace with beautiful views.

Good host who provided useful local information on nearby pubs and cafes. Very close to Central station and tram routes. Flat well sourced with tea/coffee and travel guides/maps. Luckily we were on first floor - good tip to ask for this flat. Able to leave bags in cycle shop next door which was also run by our host. Very good value for centre

Gijs was an excellent host. He helped us before arrival and during the stay. We loved the character of the house (we stayed in the loft room). It was very close to everything in Amsterdam. Rather than feeling like a tourist staying in a hotel, we felt like we are staying in our own house. Perfect value for money! Amazing breakfast.

First of all, when we arrived, Goran (the manager) was waiting for us. He explained everything, gave tips of places to visit the city, showed the whole house and its facilities. I could feel immediately the level of care and love he put even in the smallest details... The location is perfect, less then 10 minutes walk from the train station. The room was a good size, nicely furnished and with a working tv. The
bathroom was really nice too, very clean and had a hair dryer. We loved
our stay here as it was right next to the flower markets so it was easy
to find our way there (once we already knew where it was) and it
wasn't too loud at night. -
