El hecho de que además de estar muy bien comunicado en cuanto a transporte, el hotel se encuentra muy cerca de los museos principales, además de zonas de ocio, restaurantes, tiendas...y a un paseo del precioso mercado de las flores!! The hotel was a block from the Rijksmuseum -- the breakfast room looked across the street to the back archway. We were two blocks from the Van Gogh Museum, and on the tram and bus lines that led everywhere. We were able to take a BUS to and from the airport by walking a few steps.

Let's be clear - this is a budget hotel. Basic furnishings, shared bathroom. If this is what you are after this is a very good choice. Great location. Tram at door. Three major museums no more than 500 m away, canals also, supermarket nearby, plenty of food options, and the wonderful vondelpark. Good basic breakfast. Bed comfortable. Clean facilities. Good vibe.

The accommodation at Apartment Rijksmuseum exceeded all expectations. Not only was the apartment very clean, it was also spacious and ideally situated. The only confusion was who to buzz when we arrived, but we quickly figured it out (there's an art gallery below where the owners reside). The owners were very welcoming and helpful during our stay.

An absolute delight. The hosts Wies and Joop were warm and hospitable offering assistance about access to interesting parts of the city and welcoming into their home. The apartment is spacious, full of natural light, with excellent views of the Rijksmuseum and is close to great restaurants and public transport. We could have moved in permanently!!!!!!

location fabulous and if got easy access to email while away then should have no problems also would be great if you have a group to hire all 3 double rooms as communal areas lovely, unfortunately for us we stayed as a couple on a night on weekend and two of the other guests held a party on the premises and were very noisy! -
