We stayed in a large room which was beautifully furnished with items of the period the boat was launched. The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Turning left out of the central train station, it's an easy 5-minute walk away. Seemingly half the city's trams pass through the station out front. I had a conference at the convention center, which is a 10-minute walk on mainly pedestrian streets.
