A lovely hotel located at the back of the town, up against the mountainside. We really enjoyed our time there. The staff were friendly and very helpful, getting us a guide who took us to see local traditional crafts (ahem), showing us good places to eat and drink (there are only 3 places in Chaouen that serve alcohol) and helping us to use the local hamam safely. In a town where tourists are fair game for con artists and those looking to make a quick buck, we felt happier arranging things via t

The location was fantastic.
The terrace top roof was magic. The furnishings and rooms were lovely and we were so well looked after.
Tangier is a great place to visit especially if you want to experience something completely different. Fabienne was so welcoming and a fantastic host and we also had the pleasure of meeting her mother. We were made to feel like the house was our own, nothing was too much trouble and we were given great tips about where to eat and places to go.

The breakfast was delicious, the owner herself was brilliant and very helpful and friendly. The location is great for visiting the old medina and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The design of the house and the garden resembles the true and historical image of how Tangier was a huge crossing point between Europe and Africa. Highly recommended.
