My room on 1st floor (6) was airy, clean, bright and nicely-decorated. Good air conditioning, pleasant (if slightly cramped) bathroom and shower.

The staff were always extremely helpful with any questions I had. Most spoke French, Arabic, Spanish and English which makes it easy for international travelers.
The breakfast in the morning is a bit pricey but it's a great way to start your day if you're not in a rush. The patio where you eat is really nice in the mornings if the weather is good.
There's a rooftop terrace with seats where you can read or relax in the sun.

This is a beautiful little "dar" on the north side of Chefchaoen. We stayed in a triple and found it very affordable. Very easy walk up to the mosque, which we highly recommend.

Very good location. The property is well restored and tastefully decorated, with a beautiful fireplace in the communal area that was fired up each night of our stay. The staff was incredibly helpful....we were coming to Chefchaouen by
private car and were unable to find our way to the entrance ....one of
the guys came down to the town....bopped in our car and led us to the
parking area and helped us take our bags to the Dar.
The breakfast is hearty and fresh...much more than a typical carb overload...and the ambiance is lovely; fireplace going in the chilly morning...great terrasse to relax and take the sun in the afternoon .

they don't know where each Riad is and we have to find it by foot

The Riad was absolutely amazing. The decoration is exquisite and very morrocan. All the tiles are amazing. Our room was lovely with decoration and a huge double bed. The dressing gowns for using the shared bathroom were also a great thought. The staff were all really helpful, but the manager in particular went out of his way to give us recommendations. He helped us organise our guide Mostafa which was perfect for us as two women. We definitely wouldn't have found as good a guide without Idris's

Lugar espectacular, preciosa decoración, después del bullicio de la
ciudad entras al hotel y se respira mucha paz. Desde el puerto se puede
ir andando. Personal estupendo. Para el precio que pagamos(un poco
elevado) en el baño falta un secador, gorro de baño, set dentífrico,
etc...sólo había gel de ducha, champú y loción corporal. Los edredones
muy finos, en pleno invierno se pasaría frío. Desayuno estupendo en un
salón con vistas al mar muy bonitas.

A very charming hotel located at a nice and quiet setting. The owner was very friendly. We also loved the moroccan decoration details. The room was well cleaned and even though it did not have air conditioning, it was comfortable inside.
