The staff were welcoming and friendly and were always ready to help.
Nothing was too much trouble - a real 'family' feel to the
hotel, although they have 10 rooms I think. The rooms were spotless and
beautifully decorated with a real eye for detail. Location is excellent
- very close to the gates so you don't have to carry your bags far. -

The hotel was lovely but very hard to find, we wouldn't have found
it if it wasn't for some friendly locals. Food was delicous, the
best food we ate while traveling through Morocco. The staff are very
friendly and helpful they go out of their way to accommodate you. The
locals in the market are all very friendly. The market was amazing the
best we had seen in Morocco, a definate must do.

We arrived during a down pour and were totally drenched from head to toe. The riad owner immediately started a fire in the salon, found a couple of space hesters to warm us up. This a well run place and I recommend it.

Oh, Riad Malak, what can I say? I cannot recommend it highly enough. What a truly delightful little home away from home! I went form the ridiculous to the sublime - coming from the worst service I'd ever at in my life (at Tangier's MArco Polo Hotel) to the best I've ever had (at the Malak). Riad Malak was an ideal introduction to Morocco. The Riad is in the heart of the Medina, close to the significant historical monuments of Meknes. The Riad has been lovingly refurbished in traditional Moroccan style and displays the skills of local artisans while, at the same time, catering for Western comfort. From the moment we entered the Riad Benchekroun we were treated like cherished guests. Rachid and Fattah saw to our every need and helped with all our need including walking to our car, showing us where the secure parking was and helping with the luggage. We chose the room on the terrace and were rewarded with peace and beautiful views.
