Riad Aloes is perfectly situated in the Medina within easy reach all the markets and main sites. The Riad is quiet, beautiful and clean, a lovely place to relax in the hustle bustle of Marrakech. The breakfast of fresh fruits and croissants or pancakes was delicious. Our bedroom was very comfortable and clean. Olivier couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Marrakech.

By spa, I am thinking of the hammam. Perfect place to stay, near to the
centre and yet very quiet in the Riad itself. Spotlessly clean
throughout and generally everything is kept to a very high standard. I
can't speak highly enough of the staff....they were so very very
helpful and everything was done with a genuine smile. My husband was
ill while we were there (nothing to do with food in the Riad I might
add) and had to have a day of medical care. I can't believe the

With so many Riads to choose from our end choice was based on other
reviews. We chose to be met at the airport as arranged by Zak the
manager of the Riad, this cost 15€ and we would advise others to do the
same as the Tahar Oasis would be very difficult to find. On arriving
close to the hotel we were taken on foot to the Riad through a few
streets

were concerned as the alleyway was dark and our natural instincts were

The staff at the hotel were fantastic as was the decor, comfort and the
best breakfast I had while in Morocco. I like the riad set up as it is
very authentic and the roof terrace at the Tahar was really lovely.
Location too, right on the edge of the shopping district was just right,
but being off the main streets very quite and relaxing too. It is hard
to find alone, but the manager is happy to meet you if you need and
assist with directions and luggage.

On my arrival I realised my credit card had broken, Michael (the owner) took me on his motorbike to his bank to try sort my problem. The building is great with a traditional riad style. The open terrace was lovely and secluded; perfect for breakfast and sunbathing. The staff were very friendly and offered to arrange tours etc for us. The restaurant was a special treat with gorgeous French cuisine. The location is perfect; close enough to the medina to walk there easily but far enough away to be a quiet retreat.
