Lo que la gente dice
The receptionists (two brothers, apparently also owners of the hotel) helped us so much that I don't have enough words to praise them. We had certain damage done to our rental car by some hooligans and one of them went with us to local police station to produce report and later they helped us to find a local garage to fix it for fraction of what rental company demanded from us. Also location is very nice and convenient. Hotel feels old style and authentic (in a good way). todo comentarios »
The two staff members I met seemed like genuine happy guys. I loved
their energy. Helpful and silly. Rooms have a cool view but being
right above the central square guarantees a noisy night. Kids
yelling, dogs barking, music playing. It died down around 2 am on a
weekday. Not terrible, tho. If was also close to the main road. Easy
for taxi drop off.
I liked that the rooms had the Moroccan style to give me an authentic
feeling of the country. The room was large and clean, and had a cute
balcony so I could look over the square with local people passing
through. The price was very good for the cleanliness and comfort of
this hotel.
Good location, fantastic rooftop terrace with magnificent view. The staff understood and spoke english, was quite helpful (gave us a map and showed us most of the must-see locations on the map, also recommended places for dinner). Free mint tea was just amazing.
Location - excellent
The nature of the place - set in front of a square where there's plenty of activity - and overlooking the port - really makes it. The nature of the hotel itself is great - a big old spacious building.
Staff - excellent.
stuff very nice and helpful, it's very quiet place in morocan style, but You have to be careful when You go there first time, it's in the middle of medina and there's a lot of guys wanted to guide You, for price of course ;).
liked the location as it is close to Casa Port train station and 15 mins walk to CTM buses. Also very close to Ricks Cafe and medina
The local hammam beside the hotel gives excellent scrubs and massages all for only 60 dhms.
The staff from the hotel was very nice and friendly, the room clean and
with bathroom, the bed clean and tidy. Very nice breakfast included!!!
The hotel is very central, in the medina and not far from the mosque.
Hotel Central is housed in a century old classic building still carrying the grace of good old days. the manager Abdul was a very cooperative and helpful guy having good command over English.
Hotel Central is unpretentious and the staff are enthusiastically friendly. We had a balcony overlooking the plaza, which made for a terrific atmosphere, but . . .
Charming, slightly tumbledown old-fashioned hotel just inside the old
Medina of Casablanca - quite convenient for the city centre and for the
Hassan ii mosque.
Hotel Central is a no nonsense hotel, situated on a nice square in the
old Medina. The rooms are cosy and the roof terrace gives a magnificant
view over Casa!.
Staff was very friendly.place situated right next to the Madina area. Walking distance to Hassan II site. Being and room clean. Breakage adequate.
The staff was very helpful and location is such that one can visit the city on foot and then public transport is also easily available.
The hotel manager Abdul Malik has a good sense of humour, and helped
store my cycle. Overall, decent value for money.
Excellent location.
Good breakfast.
Nice balcony with the room.
One of the cheaper hotels in Casablanca.
ANYTHING! The staff as well as the breakfast, also the location is amazing. 100 % satisfaction.
Casablanca hotels very expensive but this hotel have a good price.Personal is very good.
Friendly and helpful staff
Beautiful building
Well equipped room with all amenities.
The location was good, the room was immaculate and the staff was very friendly.
Very benevolent staff! Cozy roof of hotel on which we gathered in the evenings.
nice friendly staff..nice cheap and easy in the media.
- all was OK for 2*hotel, staff was nice and funny.
I like the coffee and warm bread in the breakfast.
The staff, the breakfast and the location.
Breakfast, Friendly Staff, Location.
Location, breakfast, cheap.
Where it is.
The personal.
Staff and moroccan tea.
Location!!
And staff.
This is a budget accommodation and it looks more of a hostel than a hotel.
The location is nice and in the Medina and is only 15 mins walk from the Hassan 2 mosque. it is also close to the cafe.
the rooms are very basic with just some linens and no toilet supplies. the rooms are located on several floors (I think 3 or more floors) and there is no elevator so keep this in mind if you have lots of big luggage. The room has TV and has no AC. If you are lucky your window might just open on the sq.
Hotel Central is well positioned to see all of Casablanca's main
attractions and occupies a spot just outside the Medina (which is
perfect for those travellers who are prone to getting lost!) The
management are friendly and helpful (it also helps if you speak some
French and/or smile and laugh easily). I recommend that you
book/ask for one of the rooms with a balcony although the
"internal" rooms are great if you dislike noise while
you're resting.
the hotel has a good location and easy access from the port. close to hassan II mosque. if you mean to explore different parts of the city - walk or use petite taxi. the staff is indifferent to tourists inquiries on the city, so its better to have your guide book and maps with you (the hotel provides only the map of medina).
This was only one night stay, and it was ok for the price. Location is great, and staff was quite helpful. More hostel then a hotel, but we did not mind. We were in the room overlooking the small square and we had no complaints.
Wi fi Works even on the rooftop, good location, very easy to find and close to railway Station Casa Port, they gave us map of City and free tea:) Great view from big terrace.
Very good location, just next to Medina! Nice view of the harbor. The breakfast was quite good, very good and tasty coffee! Friendly staff and nice designe.
I didn't like the way of how they deal with clients even that the rooms are ok but not as shown on the pictures if will rate it on 5 I will give it 2.
Good location convenient to city center, medina, tramway & railway station to rabat. Friendly staff, good breakfast, wifi access.
Quirky, interesting, delicious breakfasts. On the port side, great views. Extremely cheap.
The best thing about this hotel is it's location - close to
everything.
Nice staff, good breakfast, close to Hasan II's mosque, good terrace.
The room is spacious. And relatively cheap price in Casablanca.
Great Breakfast, good location to the Medina and Port Area.
It looked pretty, white and blue. The location was great.
Close the the Medina
Nice staff
Lots of Mint Tea
Clean.
friendly staff... nice breakfast... bright airy room.
It is very well located at Medina (city old side).
Very helpful and nice staff and nice breakfast.
Location to bus and medina was very good.
If you travel by car I don't recommend to leave the car on streets around hotel (our car was damaged by hooligans), ask receptionist for directions to parking, it is 5 minutes away and is at least watched during the night.
No air con or fan, but did have big French windows, though these opened
up to the noisy square. Nothing special shower. The usual bread and
juice and for breakfast.
I did not like that the shower got water all over the floor of the
bathroom, but this is typical of many Moroccan and European bathrooms.
The shower is just a space in the corner of the room without doors.
Wifi was almost unusable - the signal quality was terrible. Also the rooms had a lot of humidity and we had no shower curtain.
Its a small point - but breakfast could be a bit more substantial - drop the eggs! (pun not intended)
Showers - really need to be improved - cold on a few occasions.
TV - on some nights, channels being changed by themselves.
All the construction going on around hotel makes it difficult to access and noisy.
This is a very basic and old hotel but it is clean.
The hotel is in the medina, we went there by car but only thanks to the
help of a guy we met, who guided us through the city (not signs at all
in the whole town for going to medina), also if you write the address in
googlemaps, it shows a different location (be careful with that!!).
surrounding areas are not safe for night walkers! you can be mugged in the narrow alleys of medina while walking back from Rick's Cafe or the center ville (city centre) after midnight despite the fact that these are fully luminated till dawn.
. . . the noise from the plaza below our balcony kept up almost all night long. Then again we had to get up at 3:00 to catch a flight, so maybe it got quieter after we left.
Room was a bit basic, I suppose, but still good value.
Breakfast is a bit poor and the rooms could be cleaner.
Mattress slightly lumpy but not major uncomfortably so. No lift. For the price would stay their anytime again.
At this low price, a hotel in the middle of a large metropolis isn't
going to be the Savoy. Fair enough.
Bathroom was really small.
Still pretty expensive for Maroccan notions.
Breakfast is weak.Don't have cheese.
Breakfast was limited, too much bread and nothing else.
It was too dangerous to venture outside after sunset.
Nothing that is worthy of discussing.
Bad internet connection, did not accept the credit cart.
The lack of an elevator for people with mobility problems.
Very basic think of a privet bedroom in a hostel.
No soap or shampoo. That said, it wasn't a problem for me as I
always carry my own!.
too small and uncomfy bathroom. breakfast seem too poor for the first site but when travel around the country, you found that its almost the same everywhere. a bit noisy at nights when locals come to the little square to chat, but as i love sounds of cities, i really enjoy that fact.
Poor breakfast, too much bread. In our room table was dirty.
Unpleasant and small bathroom. No elevator and poor quality of wifi connection downstair and no wifi connection in room.
Room with window opened to the back of the building, facing a wall of nearby house, are dark. TV really blurr and inaudible.
Not booked into the room we originally requested.
Rooms need to be repaired/refreshed. In the night it can be
quite cold.
The bathroom was uncomfortable, really bad views from the room's window, 36 euros for one double room is expensive there but Casablanca is a really expensive city.
Bathroom is not well equipped and small.
The whole place was tired and in need of a good clean and freshen up. The square in front of the hotel was being reworked, so after 36 hours flight and no sleep, a jackhammer was the last thing we needed.
My room opened to the back of another house and had no natural light. The hotel was very noisy, you can hear almost everthing that goes on in the surrounding rooms and corridors.
A little more than other hotels in the area (we were to later learn) Not as close to other major tourist attractions.
roadwork next to the hotel.
Wifi wasn't good/strong enough.
Very poor Breakfast.
Cold shower.
Expensive for the facilities supplied and compared to the rest of Morocco it is way over priced.
