This is the second time I stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Penang. Was with three other friends and we checked into two adjoining hill view rooms on the 5th floor. The view was not as great as the sea view rooms and there were no balconies but it cost a lot less too during the peak holiday season so no complains. The check-in was quick (less than 5 minu

The staff was not only friendly but helpful. We were in Penang with another family and my parents and did not arrange anything with the hotel in advance. There were no van rentals available but the concierge tried and made a few phone calls for us and did manage to one for us. We were really grateful to them for even trying.
The pool was fabulous and my children (9, 5 and 4) absolutely LOVED it.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. You feel like in 5 star hotel, altough the price was only like 3 star hotel. Room was nice and big. The vibrant Balinese architecture & variant interior finishing showed personal touch from the owner. Love our room!!! It's so beautiful!!! Love the bathroom too!!! We noticed that the owner made an effort to create ponds & plant/reserve existing trees albeit a small compound. Location away from the city with beautiful view of the sea & the city centre. Beautiful pool!!! Very friendly & helpful staff (made us feel right at home). Very clean environment. Excellent for honey-mooner

We booked the family suite - which turned out to be the 2bedroom suite on the top floor, occupying half of the entire floor.
Service - top notch. Supervisor was inspecting the room right before we moved in (although we were waiting for 2 hours before we were allowed to enter) and it was well worth the wait!
