The staff at the hostel are very helpful and provided me with useful information for our ongoing trip around Kyushu. They will also do a load of laundry for you for 200 yen but you will either have to hang the clothes of the roof or spin dry at the laundromat close by. It is in a convenient location, only a few tram stops from the main train station where the shinkansen stops. Very comfortable twin room wtih ensuite. Would definately stay here again. todo comentarios »
Really friendly and relaxed staff made us feel at home. They also go to a lot of trouble help give their guests the low down on interesting local information to get the best out of Nagasaki. We loved the 'how to make a paper crane' chart in the lounge area.
The staff, like a family, always friendly and helpful, they prepare a walk around nagasaki with locals (free) for us. The location is quite good. Comfortable. Really clean.
Customer care is their strong point, good folks. The location is perfect with easy access to central station, dining, shops and historical sites. Common kitchen is fun.

Hotel recommends food eateries which are really good and gave a pass for discount at various nagasaki tourist spots. Helpful staff though their lunch hour from 1-3 seems long and nobody will be there to man the hostel, like a vacuum state.
Staff is very nice and give discount voucher for traveling. I can chek-
in early no charge.
Only wifi in the common area, not in the rooms, no coin laundry, you have to go to one outside of the hostel which costs much more than the average.
Facilities are older and will need updating soon but currently adds character.
The bed was not very comfortable to say the least. The spring matrass
was very old and used..

Had to move a ladder to get to second floor rooms.

need universal design - panels at the entrance and around near street for smooth steps.
Terrible bed (mattras).
Shower room though ensuite for my case but inside has no hooks for hanging clothes or any amenities, you need to pay for towel, toothbrush, shampoo and etc.
The shower room is not good.
