Our stay at Bells Cabin felt more like a visit with good friends. The host is very attentive, warm and affable, which immediately puts guests at ease. Their breakfast was the best we had during our two-week stay in Japan. And, the host drove us to the train station in the morning even though we could have easily walked the distance! -

First of all, the owner family is very friendly and helpful. They gave
as a lot of recommendations what to do and explore in the area. The
house is brand new and located nicely in the forest of Naka Karuizawa.
It's a good starting point for bike riding in the area, even
there's a little hill to climb when coming form the station. The
twin room we stayed had typical size for Japanese hotel and was fully
equipped. And there is a small patio in front of the rooms to enjoy the
nature and quietness
