Lo que la gente dice
Genuine Japanese guesthouse and takes everything seriously and
properly. From the gourmet dinner to the way you prepare for onsen
(spa). Must try the two different onsens. They swap around for male or
female at different times. True Japanese experience. 5 minutes walk to
the start of cable car. Very convenient to start the round circuit of
Hakone's sights.
Very attentive staff made us very welcome. The onsen. If you arrive early you can use one before dinner and the other after dinner. The evening meal was beautifully presented. A super experience. An ideal stopping off point during a Hakone circuit.todo comentarios »
The meals (included) were served in our room and were excellent. And the
natural spring baths are amazing. Super relaxing and rejuvenating.
You have to take shoes off and use supplied slippers. There are
different slippers for general use and for the toilets. You have to
sleep on the floor on futons. Ask for 2 futons to double the comfort.
They are all ok and form part of the experience.
The following comment is not so much a "dislike", but rather
a "forewarning": As an American, I needed to be quite open-
minded and flexible when it came to the baths. They are shared, and
the customs are traditional Japanese. So, read up on the customs and
be prepared!.
