I had such a great time here! The place is very clean and comfortable. The décor is absolutely amazing and inviting. It makes you feel very relaxed and as if you were staying in a hotel. They have many many living rooms where you can sit and chat. The view from their terrace is stunning. I had a great view from my window. This place is comfortably located around little shops. They don't hassle you at the beginning to pay, but rather give you 'till the end of your stay to pay if you want. It was.
todo comentarios » Great location, very easy to find, just few meters away from Grand Canal, and very close to San Marco (5min). Beautiful roof terrace. Very clean hostel. Big space where you can hang out. I came during off season,to visit Venice biennial, for one night I payed just 20 eur. Stayed in 3 bed room,and for both nights I was staying only with one very quiet Japanese girl. Breakfast is simple, but for me was just perfect, coffee, croissant, bread, jam. Definitely coming back again!. Carla and her daughter were great hosts. Very informative and warm welcoming. The guest house building itself is over hundred years old but in very good shape. The guest house itself is filled with paintings and antiques. We felt like we were living in amuseum! The location of the guest house is in a very quite neighborhood and easy to find. The hotel is in a beautiful structure, ex-orphanage, that has been well-kept. Very spacious. I had great doubts about sharing a room with 6 people, but the room was quite large, well-organized for security and in the end I barely noticed the presence of the others. There are grand social spaces, and the terrace is a stunning feature. Excellent staff, very helpful and nice. Fantastic view of Venice from the roof top, especially at night. Special mention to one of the young staff who took special care of all guests by showing them the views, giving some friendly advice etc. I would strongly recommend staying here if you are on a budget trip to Venice. Of the four days booked two were spent at Case di Ferie, but they were closing down after that, so I was transferred to a room at their sister hotel, a 4 star hotel with a waterfront view just round the corner. I was shocked when I got up in the morning, 2 girls laying in the sofas in the sharing living room. Breakfast is too simple. Breakfast ends too early. The price. (As expected to Venice). elevator. Nothing. Small room and without heating in October (there were 14 degrees C in Venice).
