Ideal location in the most relaxed town on lake como. We could not have asked for a better stay. We managed to get room 26 which had 2 balconies overlooking the lake. The room was large and had everything we needed for 2 days. The staff were friendly and the breakfast one of the best. We spent two beautiful days in verenna and we miss it so much.

Hotel Olivedo is a lovely hotel that sits right at the edge of Lake Como. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful with local knowledge/information. The hotel is a real mix of modern upgrade with an authentic Italian feel. When you wake in the morning, you open the french doors to look out to an absolutely breathtaking view of the lake.( I still think about that view!) The ferry stops right out front of the hotel so made it very easy to visit othe

Grounds are vast garden, looking out on Lake Como. Room was large, clean, with superb lake view, air-conditioned. Staff was attentive, villa itself is large and interesting, breakfast on patio, looking out on lake. Varenna an excellent place from which to explore the lake by ferry and hiking, bike if you have one.

Lovely little hotel. Super location directly on Varenna's stunning central piazza. Lake views from the room at the top. Easy walk to the lake, the ferry boats and all restaurants. Francesco & Enzo were just wonderful, very friendly and extremely helpful. Room was clean, bed very comfortable. The restaurant is very nice too --- Love Varenna
