El hotel es practicamente nuevo, su decoracion y acabados de muy buen gusto y con materiales de primera clidad. Me gusto mucho su ubicacion estrategica en el corazòn de Sorrento. I would think that some of the back rooms on the first floor facing the garden are also good. The staff were very helpful when it came to choice of restaurants and tours. - Every single thing. The hotel was perfect on every front: location, staff, cleanliness (particularly good), facilities, value for money, the included breakfast was also excellent. The Palazzo Guardati is the best hotel I have stayed at in Italy. Totally exceeded my expectations.

The staff were excellent and the little chalets were a refreshing change from a multi storey hotel.
It's a ten minute walk to the main square but as a result it's a peaceful retreat. There's a great restaurant called Fillippo about a five minute walk away.
The breakfast was superb, lots of choice and reasonable quality food. -

We stayed 6 nights in Maison Tofani which is a great little hotel in the historical centre of Sorrento, decorated in the best Italian style. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street. We had a small table and two chairs on the minute balcony where we could watch the world go by. The windows were well insulated as we weren't disturbed by noise.
