Small, local and intimate hotel with friendly staff. Would make an excellent larger family break if you could rent all three rooms, we will certainly consider this for the future -

You feel very welcome right from the start and the whole Hotel has a lovely family atmosphere.
The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Owner sent, few days before our arrival, email with exact directions to

It certainly surpassed expectations. We usually stay in 4-star hotels,
rather than bed-and-breakfasts, but were on a limited budget, and
Saturnia is expensive in May. It is nice 6-flat hotel, family-owned,
they manage/clean/take care of everything as a couple, but you
will be amazed they worked so hard to have everybody at the hotel feel
so happy. Nice little garden.

We borrowed bikes and had an amazing time cycling through the countryside to Lucca, which was also picturesque and beautiful. The resident is very close to Florence, we had a rental car but did not use it because there was a bus station 100m away, took us about 15 min' to arrive florence's center. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help. The rooms are very large and modern and the breakfast is very nice. The b&b is about 15 mins by car into Florence or say 20 mins on the bus. There is a bus stop just outside of the accomodation. In addition we had a very nice meal at a restaraunt about 400 metres from the b&bB on the main road to Florence which was run by a family originally from Inverness.

Right next to Pienza, an uncrowded hill town. The walk was on the little back streets, very nice, The room itself was spotless, with a little balcony and one of the bigger bathrooms we had. The breakfast was good with homemade bread. But the real gem was Andrei himself. Extra helpful and kind. The restaurant he recommended was very very good. This is a good spot for visits to Montepulciano, Montelcino, etc, but don't miss Pienza's cathedral. Special.

Realmente es un BandB pero merece totalmente la pena.
