We traveled to Cala Gonone as a young couple and found Residence Biriola very easy to find. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis. Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

The hotel is very well maintained and the location perfect. The staff goes out of their way to please the customer. Beautiful view of the Bay, walking distance to small village with restaurants & boutiques. Also, a Supermarceto wich is very convenient. Would definitely go back to this hotel.

Staff working there is 5* !!!! Best ever customer service I have ever seen! been treated like I am the most important guest in all resort. Lovely place to stay and relax. Location spotless! Perfect food, perfect drinks, great views. Not far away supermakret and other restaurants although they were colsed in April :P In general I am coming back for sure !!! :) Thank you to all staff ,u made my holidays a pure leasure!!

Great value for money and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. All rooms seem to have either a balcony or their own patio/chairs etc.. The staff we met were so friendly and acted on any requests promptly and efficiently. The hotel is within an easy 15 minute stroll of the village centre and yet remote from the hurly burly. Great Pool, extremely clean. Rooms clean and of good size and quality of daily maintenance of rooms and towel changes really good. The night reception staff member Giovanni was so welcoming after a really late arrival following a stressful journey.
