We were delighted with the welcome we received by Proprietor, Luara. on arrival and from then on with the friendliness of all the staff. Our room in the Villa, overlooking the lake,was a sheer delight, and to receive a cheery greeting each morning entering the dining room started the day off with a swing. All amenities were very good. I had read on a review that WiFi was "crap". This was not the case at all. We have recommended Villa Torretta to two friends and we only arrived back in Australia

We loved our stay here. After an initial confusion on our Gps which sent us to a different Casazze about 2hrs further South we were quite exhausted on arrival and our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming.
The B&B is very spacious, clean and well appointed - one note, we couldn't find wine glasses, but other than that everything about the rooms were what we expected for the price. Very family friendly.
But the real pluses for us were the location and our hosts.

Even though we arrived late at night,we loved the spacious, clean room and it's elegant atmoshere! And because we had to catch an early flight in the morning and we wouldn't be able to have breakfast, Carla ( the owner), brought us in our room a tray with juice ,biscuits, yogurt . Everything was brand new - it looked like we were the first to use the room (No6). The room was at pavement level but the window was double-glazed so kept what noise there was on a quiet street to a minimum. Great location - 15 minute to the train station and city center by
foot. Quiet street and no noise inside of the hotel. You are getting
the keys and in the evening returning by yourselves to the hotel like
to the apartment. Staff was very helpful. Also that was surpise for us
that the owner of the hotel is speaking Russian. We was able with her
help to find out the way how to get to Lake Garda and then to the
Malcesino sity on it.

It was budget friendly but still a comfortable stay. Free bottled water
and wifi were provided, and the staff was very friendly in orientating
us. The kitchen was also a good place to relax after a long day of
traveling. Not the most central but still located on a good shopping

This B&B is wonderful. Surrounded by woodland and is quiet. Laura is the perfect hostess and always obliging. She gave us ideas of what to visit in Milan and how to get there.The breakfast area is spacious and the selection is more than you need. After a day of dodging heavy traffic and sightseeing in Milan, this B&B is worth gold.

The Nest was a fabulous find, right on the lake, true you do go to sleep listening to the waves lapping on the 'beach'. Gorgeous lakeside terrace, great breakfast, easy access to local excellent restaurants and lovely owners! Tino and his wife are excellent, relaxed hosts who are always ready to help, or assist with travel solutions. Lovely B&B in a stupendous place.

Location is right in the heart of the historic centre. Beside many good restaurants and the ferry boats. Spotlessly clean! Lovely themed rooms with lilac featuring heavily but worked well. The room and bathroom were spacious, pretty and had all that we needed. In a very convenient and relatively quiet location, everything is 5 minutes walk away. The owner was amazing: thoughtful, informative and very helpful. In fact, he went out of his way to save us from a crisis regarding our flight home by communicating to relevant people for us, helping us with luggage (two bikes) and also met us at the bus station to make sure it had all worked out well.

We absolutely loved this B&B. Pietro met us at the train station in Olcio (a lovely surprise!). He and Maria were so lovely and couldn't do enough to look after us. We had the attic room on the top of the house which was spacious and had amazing views of Lake Como. We even had our own kitchen!

advantages of family run hotel - friendly and helpful staff, cosy rooms,
excellent breakfast, support and advices for what to see, where to eat
and how to organize your sightseeing activities. Perfect location - nice
view, quite place and easy access to all places to visit by car/boat
(optional). Parking in place is really important for this area.
