  In principle this is an ordinary mountaineering and/or ski/wintersport hotel located just 200 heigthmeters below the Splügen pass (2213m) in N Italy. The room offered a good bed to sleep in, and a very crampy bathroom. Good local food (dinner, breakfast) offered at the first floor.

  We stayed at this hotel twice in july 2013. For us it was an ideal location on our way to a camping in Toscana, and also for the return trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I wasn't too keen to leave my car loaded with 3 bicycles on the parking place. The staff allowed me to park the bicycles in their garage.   Wonderful staff, really hospitable and warm. Paulo the cook is amazing!!! Best food in italy! The drive up was thrilling! Great balcomy views of lake como.
