Lo que la gente dice
Podere Sette Piage was the best stay we had in all of Italy. The owner was incredibly welcoming and warm and even took us on a tour of his property. The breakfast was delicious and we were treated with homemade/ grown goods like cheeses and figs. Definitely worth our money!

Excellent location at the foot off this Etruscan walled city with its
cobbled stone lanes and magnificent Duomo. Alberto is a great host and
obliging - offering to take you up to the walled city and either pick
you up or return you to the train station.he even assisted us in
retrieving our passports which were accidentally left behind in
Positano.Good mix of international guests which led to friendly,
enjoyable company, albeit briefly.
Friendly and helpful owner Alberto, great pool, good breakfast (including bacon and eggs!), lovely sunny gardens and grounds. Located in the countryside just below Orvieto - just a short steep walk upto the town centre which we did every night with no problems.
For a lovely experience of the Italian countryside and the region of Umbria, you must stay here. This family-run business provides excellent service and every effort is made to help the traveller and make you as comfortable as possible.
Enjoyed our one night stay. Friendly greeting on arrival. Room was spacious and comfortable with views over the pool area. Great location for visiting Orvieto. Breakfast was great. Would stay there again.
The villa and grounds are beautiful and Alberto the host very friendly. The home grown produce for breakfast was delicious. The closeness to Orvieto by the steep walk or by car made it an ideal place to stay.
The setting was beautiful, the rooms comfortable and clean. We stayed in the lavender room and it had a huge bathroom. The breakfast and coffee was great and the owners were so friendly.
the setting is beautiful, the grounds lovely with a great pool.
the owners are nice people and the rooms are beautifully furnished.
Nice clean pool and gardens
Attentive staff/owners
Relaxed atmosphere
Good food
Well sized clean rooms
Just outside Orvieto.
Fantastic location under the walls of Orvieto and a lovely pool. Very hospitable owners.
View,owner hospitality,close to other places in umbria,room,breakfest.
Super view and place! Super rock under this place, nice view!.
On arrival one is welcomed by the delightful owner who is obviously very proud of his house and small estate. The house itself is a lovely old farmhouse set in a small but very attractive estate which includes a superb swimming pool. The owner produces much of his own food such as cheese, yoghurt, fresh fruit and tomatoes to die for.
So far so good but unfortunately are room was a disappointment. Whilst a good size with a comfortable bed it was very noisy, my wife’s comment in the morning that.
pleaseant enough the people were very nice.
Not really a dislike but would have preferred a bit more variety in
their breakfast offering, particularly Italian pastries and brioches.
If you accept the offer of a meal to be prepared later in the day, do ask how much it will cost before you accept. Our meal was wonderful but much more expensive that we expected.
Trains were a bit noisy. We luckily had earplugs so they didn't bother us.
Walks from hotel entailed either road with no footpath - albeit lifts into valley bottom town were offered to negate this.
Route into hillside town was steep to walk up and down in particulsrly so in hot weather.
Would have liked a kitchen corner in the room.
Don t keep food in room - will come ants. And is not right information about to have fruits from trees.
Noisy room and having to pay an extra Euros10 to use the air conditioning.
very difficult to find,it should be made more clear that this is CASH ONLY.
