We had our best night sleep here as the beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. The restaurant is delicious.   Ca Brusca in only about 2 km from the town of Barolo, the unofficial center of the Barolo wine area. Lots of small rustic villages in the area are also easily reachable. One tip though is that you absolutely need to have a car to move around the surroundings. In hindsight, it was possible to start the walk directly from Ca Brusca, but at that point, - Ca Brusa is owned and run by Diego Marengo and his wife, a charming, friendly couple who are assisted by their two sons. They are farmers who own extensive vineyards and grow their own vegetables. The six hotel rooms have been converted from the old cow barn. Delicious and abundant home cooking washed down by excellent wine produced on the premises.
