This is such a lovely place to stay. When we planned to stay in Naples and travel to Capri, sores to Pompeii from there we were a bit nervous as we were told by many many people that Naples is not a very safe city, and to some extent it is true. The staff were excellent. It is in a very good situation although the immediate square it is in, is slightly run down and can be intimidating at first. If the noise of fireworks upsets you, this is not the hotel for you, as there are a number of firework shops in the square and during the festivals there are constant loud bangs.

After having spent time in Rome and the mountains of Italy, Naples is completely different. It's more dirty than the other cities we visited in Italy but the people are very warm and welcoming. Heed the warnings and do not travel with expensive jewelry. The scenery from the windows with a view of the port are beautiful.

The location is perfect, the area is safe, max. 10 min. walk to the dome, about 15 min. walk to the port, 20 min. to Via Toledo. The hotel is smart, very clean, really good value for the price you can use everything in the kitchen, the host is really-really nice and helfpul, even if they doesn't speak much English, but it wasn't a problem at all.

Actually, this hotel is reconstructed from an appartment. There are 3 rooms in one flat with private bathroom and toilette. and also one salon for share and breakfast. The host leave the food, tea, coffee in the salon. the location is near the histrical center, very convenience. I think it's good value for money.
