  The location of the hotel was perfect, in the old town of Monterosso blocks from the sea and within steps of good restaurants and shopping. The management amazingly met us in the middle of the night (1:00 when our train arrived) to walk us to our apartment--so grateful! Nicely decorated, comfortable, and spacious. The hiking trail from Venazza ... lo que la gente dice » to Monterosso was fun, slightly challenging and spectacular! - Very nice host (Claudia), the room is large, nicely equipped and clean - but the biggest advantage is the great location directly in the old town of Monterosso. Nights are quiet and beds absolutely okay. Our room (the purple room) was located on ground floor with a direct own entry door from the small street (no cars!). Great!
