The whole place was extremely well thought out - The winery moved across the street from its original location, but a brand new hotel was built on the old side. Location & facilities. Having to book online without seeing a place
to stay can be unnerving, especially in a foreign country. We were
pleasantly surprised at the beauty of Canalicchio. We were impressed
with the beautiful scenery, and the apartment was perfect: 3 bedrooms, 2
baths, a full kitchen. After our day-trips, it was the perfect place to
come home to, enjoy a simple dinner of delicious food we bought in town,
sit around the pool, have some wine, and truly relax and gather as a

i would definitely advise this place to everyone who travels around Toscana. It makes you feel like you own a whole house in the middle of vineyard and corn fields, it's close to two villages with shopping and restaurants, but there's still quiet and calm. -

Lisa was amazing. We did not arrive until late in the evening, but she was waiting for us when we arrived. We got right in to our studio. She helped us out with how to get around Montalcino, where to eat, etc. Free wi-fi was great. Lisa and Andreas were very welcoming and helpful. The property is very
beautiful and serene and unexpected in the historical city of
Montalcino. The room or rather apartment we had was very thoughtfully
equipped with food to start off our trip. Bed was very comfortabel and
large.The bathroom was quite nice with a full size soaking tub and a
full sized shower. We had access to the washer on premises for a fee.
There were much appreciated little touches everywhere. The property is

The 2 bedroom apartment we rented had a well equipped kitchen that we used a couple times to prepare meals. The balcony overlooking the Tuscan countryside was our favorite part. There was plenty of space for a group of 5 to spread out. Breakfast spread was varied and filling, served between 8-10am, more food earlier in that time frame. Great view!! Directly outside our window was the castle. They also had their own wine shop below the hotel with good brunello with excellent prices. Also great service, I arrived significantly later than expected and they came back to the hotel to check us in. -
