We were staying in the off season for a half marathon. The key reason we chose Solemare was price and location. The value for price ratio is excellent; we had a reasonably comfortable room, the location was right on the beach, it was a 2km walk to the start/finish of the race, and breakfast was fine - not spectacular, but, again, very appropriate

Location is excellent, right on the beach. There are allocated spaces on the beach for each room. Breakfast and Evening meal both OK but not fantastic. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but adequate, we had air conditioning in our bedroom which is essential. Temperatures were reaching 35 and it was only June.

Giovanni (the owner's son) could not have been more helpful or made
our stay at Hotel Rosa any more enjoyable. He provided us with so many
good tips for places to eat and where to visit and was extremely
knowledgeable and passionate about Jesolo and the whole area around
Venice including the islands. He also provided a detailed guide and info
for Venice itself where we were traveling to at the end of our stay in
Jesolo. The hotel itself is family run and has a very friendly and
welcoming atmosp
