When I could not find the vacant parking next day, he drove my car to the parking instead of me, and he brought my car to the hotel when we left the hotel. Palazzo Bernardini is an excellent B&B located in the palace in Lecce centro storico. The apartment we booked was spacious, beatifully decorated and furnished, comfortable. It includes a small terrace overlooking the back garden. It's in the center of beautiful baroque Lecce, but we were allowed to park the car at the property. The breakfasts are tasty and served in the rooms, The staff isvery kind, helpful and knowledgable of what the city offers. Strongly recommended.

The owner was incredibly hospitable and kind. He picked us up from the train station at midnight so we would not have to walk so late at night. He also had free bikes for our use, and a desk top computer with wifi. The room was immaculate very comfortable, and very quiet. The hotel is only a five minute walk from the historic center. I highly recommend staying here.
