The Metro is on the same block. Wonderful restaurant two doors down,
good shopping in area, and the Best Gelato in all of Europe a couple of
blocks over. Colosseum is about 5 blocks straight down from the hotel.

Not a five star but the staff clean it every day,even bathroom and make your beds, the brekfast ticket given is for a restaurant literally around the corner and worth it. Staff were very friendly, gave a huge level of detail on where everything was and gave clear directions, location was literally 5-10 minutes from Colosseum. Air conditioning made it comfortable in the height of summer. Wi-Fi was also of a decent speed and was included in the price. Also it's one floor of a building so it feels like you are staying

The host, Luigi, was incredibly nice and was great at explaining all the touristic highlight Rome has to offer and how to avoid certain tourist traps. There's great WiFi in the room and the place also offers a basic but a very sufficient breakfast. The area is close to the Central station and is about a 10-15 minutes walking distance from the Colosseum
