It was just perfect! A really luxurious hotel with it's own beach
which is located on the other side of road and you can get there using a
roofed-bridge. The food in Eden Roc restaurant was amazing! Usually when
abroad I prefer to eat in different places to try more and to see new
places, but here I was ready to have every dinner in Eden Roc:) Staff is
extremely helpful and friendly (they have also Russian-speaking

Nice modern clean hotel with comfortable rooms. Excellent location next to train station, and close to the beach and port for boats to Portofino. Great staff that helped with our plans for exploring Cinque Terre. il Nostromo is a great restaurant in the street infront of the hotel (Tuna Tartar for appetizer, Pistachio crusted fish for main course and Tiramisu for dessert - Best meal of the trip).

We loved both Santa Margherita & Hotel Metropole. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, we particularly enjoyed the pool area late in the afternoon and also returning from dinner at night and sitting out on the terrace with coffee and liqueurs. Superb breakfast included in the price. On our last morning we were leaving early and the the hotel made coffee for us and prepared breakfast packs for us to eat on the train, much appreciated. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the personnel extremely helpful. The room, facilities, and hotel restaurants were great. The location was very close to shopping, restaurants, buses and trains. The familiarity of the manager, the choice of the room that pleased usthe most, a better room for the same price because I asked for a bath inmy reservation form. - Room comfortable, we missed breakfast on first morning cos I did not allow for time change.
