Meals were taken from local specialities and well prepared.   A real find! We stayed at the Belvedere as part of a four day ski break. Having flown in from London, we hired a car at Milan Malpensa and drove to Champoluc. Our flight times were such that we only arrived in the village around 10:45 pm, so we had to wait for the last Gondola up to the Crest mid station. We awoke the next m - The host. He is fantastic; kind, friendly and takes care of everything. The sights; this place is high and isolated and surrounded by high mountains. It is an excellent base for hiking. Getting up to the place includes a free Jeep ride (With an excellent driver) in alpine scenery; it was a great welcome to the place. The food; Dinner was very nice and the host can cook (and he is good cook as the food was great) wherever diet that is requested.
