My husband and our 3 kids just stayed at the Hotel Ancora Riviera and
had a wonderful time! The staff is great and always available to help
out in any way needed. We especially liked Fausto who always had a
smile on his face and was extremely friendly and very helpful in giving
us sight seeing information and restaurant recommendations. We truly
enjoyed the Sporting Yacht Club located behind the hotel which hotel
guests have access to for free. The pool was amazing and they have a

Este hotel es simplemente una bonita casa ,representativa de la arquitectura de la zona . la familia que la rige es muy agradable . Ha sido una buena ubicación para las excursiones a las cinco tierras y zona de Portofino .

Friendly staff, good location (near beach, railway/road) easy to go both North (Genova, Portifino) and South (Cinque Terre). Although the railway was only 3-400 m from the hotel, noise was never a problem.
Good parking facilities, reasonable breakfast.

Very helpful staff, good free parking spot right out the front ( if you are the only one with a car in the hotel!). Good position right in the middle of Lavagne overlooking the square. Great breakfast, the coffee machine is great. -

The hotel was located near the main street and close to the beach. We had a free place for our car.
The breakfast was good and various.
The staff was very helpful with everything we asked for. They were always polite and friendly.
We were pleased by the trips by boat offered by the hotel. The hotel offers trips to Portofino and Cinque Terre. -

The table d'hote meals were excellent & extremely good value for money (this offering was not mentioned on your website). The hotel is basic but ticks all the boxes. The management and staff alike were always helpful and very pleasant. They made you feel really welcome. The food is excellent and although it is a set menu there is always something for everyone and the best value for money in Sestri. Drinks are also better value in the hotel than at the bars/restaurants in town. A 2* hotel with 5* service

All the members of the hotel staff were extremely welcoming and smiley, it is obvious that everybody there is loving his job and doing it with passion! The room was great with a beautiful view over the sea, but maybe the best surprise was the delicious breakfast we had in the morning. I would definitely recommend this place! -
