What a gem! We were backpacking Europe and decided to stay at La
Scogliera. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are
so clean, and the view of the sea is spectacular. Delicious breakfast
and made-to-order coffees, and the hotel lent us bikes to get to and
from the train station. Just a train ride away from Cinque Terre, and,
as recommended by hotel staff, Santa Margherita and Portofino. Lovely
stay at La Scogliera; highly recommend.

Friendly staff, good location (near beach, railway/road) easy to go both North (Genova, Portifino) and South (Cinque Terre). Although the railway was only 3-400 m from the hotel, noise was never a problem.
Good parking facilities, reasonable breakfast.

The hotel was located near the main street and close to the beach. We had a free place for our car.
The breakfast was good and various.
The staff was very helpful with everything we asked for. They were always polite and friendly.
We were pleased by the trips by boat offered by the hotel. The hotel offers trips to Portofino and Cinque Terre. -

The table d'hote meals were excellent & extremely good value for money (this offering was not mentioned on your website). The location was an easy 5 minute walk to the beach or drive to outside eateries. The community toilet was not an issue as there were at least 3 and were very close to the rooms which were semi-private.
