To put this into context, down the years I have travelled to well over 100 countries, staying in all manner of accommodation from 5* hotels to backpacker hostels. I have been to Italy alone around 15 times. And in all that time worldwide, I cannot think of better, kinder hosts. We were supposed to be self-catering but Monica brought us de - Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.
