My friend was visiting from Waterford for the night and we stayed in the Orwell Hotel, it was so relaxing and we were very well looked after, eventhough we were only there for one night, it was a very lovely experience. We were first time in Dublin and really loved this hotel! Easy to find (bus 14,15a,b,c, 83 etc stops near) and it's overall really cosy hotel! Just 20-30min walk from downtown, really nice pubs and food places alongside road! We stayed there 3 nights.
Staff was friendly and helpful and Irish Breakfeast (eggs, bacon, toast etc) was served to tables

Uppercross House Hotel was perfect, although i stayed only one night. They will provide you with everything you might expect from a hotel of this price (and even more): Friendly staff, 24h reception, very tasty breakfast included with plenty of choices to go with, daily newspaper, room was very comfortable, lots of space in the bathroom, taxi station just across the street, not noisy at all. Took me about 15-20 minutes walking to the center of Dublin. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Reception Staff efficient, professional and friendly. Availability of free, secure, hotel car parking is a real bonus. I was allocated a suite which was excellent - main problem for me was that I didn't have enough time to really appreciate it. - I love the Days hotel in Rathmines. I stay there every time I am in Dublin now. Tried many other hotels

accommodating and breakfast was excellent. All in all, we had a pleasant

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The staff was perhaps the best part of the whole experience. We were able to lock our bags up before checking in so we didn't have to drag them around the city. Also, the staff helped us with directions, provided free maps, and recommended places to eat.
