Most guests clean up after themselves in the kitchen, with backup from staff when they don't. Sitting rooms are inviting, people quiet and respectful, feels like being at home I like the art on the walls, the books in the library, they all say "Galway" and "Ireland" and "Welcome to it." Housekeeping is immaculate, guest towels part of the service.

Fridge and cupboard patrol is evident but could be more frequent.

Good kitchen facilities, own bathroom, good range of tours available, free towels!!

Showers were awful - only goes for 20seconds and then you have to push it in again. No free breakfast

The most comfortable bed/matress in our tour of Ireland! Excellent atmosphere! Good breakfast.

It needs some kind of signpost on the main road because the name of the street doesn't appear on the new building of T-X Max.

Compared to some hostels I have stayed in, this one was excellent. The place was clean and tidy with nice décor and felt relatively modern.

Check out was 10am which is much too early if you have been out drinking and have to drive a car. It should be 11am at least.

All the staff is very kind and efficient. In Sleepzone, they can show you what to do in the city, recommend restaurants and pubs and sell you guided tours to other places nearby Galway. Besides, the common areas are very clean and organized, specially the kitchen. A very simple breakfast (bread, jam and juice/coffee) is included, but it was more than enough for us.

Absolutely everything! I am a travel agent in Ireland, so I know what to expect and was not expecting a lot from a hostel. However, the reviews looked good and price was great. I was so impressed by the staff, the provision of towels, the location and most of all by the apartment that we stayed in. Had great location and they even let us check out late as they didn't have a booking the next day.

What's not to like, a private 2 bed apartment right in the middle of Galway for 150 euro....great!!

Staff was super friendly. Great location- Right near the Bus Station and a 15 min walk to the city- centre. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

WiFi only available on the ground floor. We cancelled from 6 beds to 4, well in advance, but the hostel still charges us for 6, in spite of them saying in an earlier email that we 'd be charged for 4- Be careful of cancellations and bookng changes.

I felt that the hostel was well run and managed, so things were really well organised. As a traveller that's very reasuring. I'd also like to say the staff showed an excellent combination of friendliness and efficiency.

Cannot complain about anything. Towels were also available which i was not expecting from a hostel. Excellent value and all round service. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The only problem i had was there was no onsite parking. There was public parking across the street but did not fancy leaving my car in a city center car park on a Saturday night.

staff were lovely, very good location

the apartments smelt mouldy and disgusting. there were disgusting stains on the carpet. we couldn't use the kitchen/loungeroom because it looked unhygienic, and the carpets were sticky. it was so expensive for what we got. i have stayed at heaps of backbackers before and they have always been clean and secure. this place was foul. the beds were also very dirty. will never stay here again. very disappointed.

We made a reservation for a room with private bathroom, when we arrived they gave us a shared bathroom room. Theire explanation was that mistakes happen and that it wasn't the end of the world, not kidding, and they charged us a room with private bathroom instead of a shared one. We had to ask them for a partial refund.
