Location was great. Hosts were better than great, such fun to stay on
this barge and really comfortable. The canal option was so good and our
friends young kid loved watching it all unfold....so did the adults. You
want for little staying with Dublin Barge Hire and its right downtown
walking distance to Trinity College, all the museums, and the new
Rugby/ Soccer stadium. Not to mention just a block from the train
station to go out to Howth! Cannot recommend enough, wonderful and fun
for both of

Having stayed in hotels all over the world I must say that the Marker
has been one of the best. Spent 1 night in the Marker as we were taken
in the Ireland - New Zeland rugby match. The hotel is in a great
location in Dublin, just a short walk to the city centre, and the Avia
stadium, when we arrived we were greeted by friendly and helpfull staff.
We received a free upgrade in our room. The room was out of this world,
very mordern and clean. Spa was great and the breakfast was to die for.

I was greeted personally they called me on my way from the airport. I was dreading the noise as it is in very busy /noisy Temple Bar but my suite ( Bram Stoker) was not on street ... so it was quiet .. and they provide ear plugs . ITs a vry urban environment so if you re looking for views or sense of space its not a place for you. The room are large however and otherwise perfect . Will use it again .

Absolutely loved this hotel! Was weighing up whether to stay at the Westbury or her and we were so glad we picked the Shelbourne! It is just in a class of its own and seems to have more on at night too. You could just sit in the elegant foyer and people-watch all day! This adorable place was so nice, clean and comfortable. The owners were just a delight. Our room was wonderful and comfortable. Location was perfect just outside of town about a few miles and easy access to the bus system into town center. Breakfast was amazingly great and filling!! I would recommend to everyone to stay here if you want a quieter setting but still be very close to town center. Also they have a beautiful outside garden area and the flowers are just beautiful.

Stayed for 5 nights on July 2013. I had great experience. The location couldn't be more central, just 2 minutes walk from Temple Bar and 5 minutes from Dublin Castle. The rooms are very large and very well equipped and the bed extremely comfortable. The facilities are very modern but the interior designing is pleasant and warm. Breakfast contains wide selection of fresh products. The staff was friendly, outreaching and very efficient. They provided a lot of accurate information about the city
