  First of all, Friðjòn, the manager, is super nice and attentive, real pleasure to deal with. The apartment is new and clean, tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need (pots and pans, utensils etc). The balcony is spacious and the view from the bedroom is right to the harbor. There are plenty of restaurants around and everything is a short walking distance. - The hotel manager Fridjon was excellent, really helpful and nice. The apartment is immaculate and equipped with everything you could want. The location is brilliant - just overlooking the harbour, only 2 minutes walk from the Reykjavik town square (which also means it's a lot quieter at 5am when everyone is coming out of pubs/clubs!)

  Excellent location, great harbour view, very clean room and the bed was huge! Didn't try the restaurant but the bar service was good and the bar area was very nice and relaxing. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. - Atmosphere, people - nothing too much trouble, central location - overall great

  We were a family group: Grandpa, Grandma, Daughter, grandsons ages 11, 12. We needed affordable lodging near shopping and public transportation. Downtown Reykjavik Apartments (dra) met and exceeded our requirements. The dra is just 2 blocks from one of the main bus stations in Reykjavik. From that point, one can travel anywhere in the City. We also saw a family studio which was bigger and again very clean and pleasant. I asked to upgrade our room as I wanted a bit more space (the prices are very reasonable and I was happy to pay more).
