first class service and accommodation.I have stayed in hotels 46 weeks each year for 30 years and this hotel was exceptional value for money, most helpful staff, very high standard of decor and one of the best small hotels I have experienced. - Nice and clean rooms. Fantastic location only 1 min walk to lake front. Apartment beautifully decorated, furnished and equipped. Csaba picked us up and run us back to the train station at no cost. He was on hand if we had any problems (which we didn't) and could not have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for accommodatio

The service of Gombás Kúria Mension was very good. There were not many guests in the hotel when I was there, but the service (breakfast, room) was still perfect. Where do you find a hotelowner who cleans you carwindow before driving off? -

The hosts were lovely and helpful. The accommodation was very clean and tidy and the breakfasts were excellent.The pretty garden and small pool were a bonus. This was a very relaxing stay and although little English was spoken the hosts were great.

The owner was lovely and welcomed us very nicely even though we arrived very late. The room was fairly basic but extremely clean and tidy and we had a good nights sleep. It was a short drive to the lake where we drove to the following morning. -

We enjoyed everything about our stay. Our host was most obliging and helpful. Our room was spacious, air-conditioned and well set-up. The WiFi worked well. There was a good selection of food at breakfast with the option of some cooked eggs, etc. The hotel was close to a small supermarket if you needed some supplies and it was 10-15 minutes walk from the basilica/castle area and some excellent restaurants which our host recommended. Parking was easy.

It is an interesting location, right across a mill stream from the old castle on the lake. The Eszterhazy Palace is around the corner, but it is not open and in need of much renovation. A pleasant surprise in an off-the-beaten-track area with numerous things to like. Friendly and helpful staff. Bike rental available and a good bike path runs along the Danube. The Korean gourmet dinner was superb. Wellness area is clean and more than adequate. Nice surroundings -

The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. You feel like you are at home. The breakfast is really good and tasty. The Pension is close to Lake Balaton and to an Inner Lake which is perfect for fishing, and walking tours around. Really good biking routes around, and they have lot of events and festivals during summer in Tihany. -
