  Very friendly and welcoming staff, the hotel was not expensive to eat in and the meals where excellent. The children even enjoyed the set meal! The whole stay was very relxaing with a homely feel, great place! we will be happy to go back anytime.

  The area is very nice and quiet. It is ideal for hikers. The staff was very friendly. The hotel has a restaurant which can provide very tasty and good food (you do not need to worry about the amount of food :-) ).   The hotel is situated directly at a skiing area, indeed. However, it needs to be said this not the bigger skiing area around Winterberg and there aren't any skilifts to get into this bigger area either. Still, 3.5 kms along the road back to Winterberg there's a parking spot from where entrance to the Winterberg skiing area is possible.
