Villa Alkener was a highlight of our trip. It has a spectacular view of the Mosel River with boats drifting slowly by and trains meandering around the base of the mountains,. Large rooms. Very good air conditioning. Really was five star. Great location, half way between Koblenz and Cochem. Easy drive or bus ride or ferry in either direction.
