Approx 60 miles SW from Munich & 1/2-way between the Bodensee where Germany, Austria & Switzerland meet. About 15 mins from the small airport. It is used by lo-cost airlines to serve Munich. Storchenfarbe is a 15th century building, completely restored into luxury apartments and a small house, nicely fitted-out with everything one needs.   The hotel had a charming traditional feel of a family-run establishment. The room was large and the bathroom was huge. Although some of the décor was a bit dated everything was of top quality and the whole hotel was immaculately clean.   Everything about the hotel and its location was superb. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean and were cleaned every day to the highest standard. The staff moved an extra bed into our room at no extra cost to facilitate better sleeping arrangements. The breakfast is above average, was pleasantly surprised to be able to get a cappuccino. Also the breakfast staff is capable of running the room efficiently. We stayed in a 3-adult room. The rooms were clean, and the bathroom was modernly equipped (the main reason for choosing this hotel). The room was also huge. If found the price very doable at 135 euro/night for 3 adults, including breakfast.
