It was easy to find in St Malo which was a bonus! Lovely new hotel right opposite the beach. Good parking and very pleasant and informative staff on arrival who showed us our room. Lovely room. We did not use the swimming pool or spa but I expect that it would have been very good. A top class restaurant is within the hotel but we had a drink at the beautiful bar instead. Villa Esprit de Famille combines the best features of a hotel and a B and B. It's friendly and family run, comfortable and immaculately clean and set in the beautiful village of Rotheneuf, part of Saint-Malo. A superb hotel fully renovated. very clean, very quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Clean bed and nice shower booth with hot water helped me to relax after long drive from Paris. We could not have made a better choice! Cosy comfort and neat style, optimally located for a nice walk alongside the beach promenade to intra muros, and a super view at breakfast on the surfer in the ocean. Dear friendly hosts, we'll be back!

The room was extremely good. Bathroom was large and newly renovated with an excellent shower. The beds were very comfortable and the in-room TV was a nice touch. Parking on-street was easy and the beach was only a block away. Access to the walled town of St-Malo is a leisurely walk or an easy drive along the beach. -
