Great boutique hotel in a delightful village; owners are fantastic and breakfast was wonderful each morning. Homemade yogurts and jams; lots of bread and fresh fruit. Two excellent restaurants in the village a few minutes walk from the hotel. Village car park available within a 5 minute walk. Very peaceful and quiet yet very close to Nice, Menton, St Paul du Vence and the other picturesque mountain villages. Great place to base yourself for a few days or a week in Provence! todo comentarios » We stayed only one night in Frog house, but we liked it very much. Guesthouse is really clean and cosy (you feel like at home). Frog house (yes, they have many decorative frogs in there) is located in tiny charming village, so you have views with valleys, mountains and medieval buildings. What we loved the most is kindness of owners and their homemade breakfast. You don't have big choice for the breakfast (as everywhere in France is mostly sweet breakfast), but homemade yogurt and jams was rea. Exceptional location, very quiet and cozy, with beautiful views, offers a lot of possibilities for hiking and climbing. Although situated approximately 20 km away from Nice, it's easily accessible if you travel by car. Breakfast consisting of homemade products served on the terrace is a good way to start the day. If you plan on visiting Nice, you should ask Benoit for tips regarding local attractions, parking places and restaurants, the indications we got from him were great. Very warm welcome from this lively and talented couple.There is a relaxed welcoming feel to this place and indeed throughout the whole village of St Jeannet which is charming. Excellent breakfasts with home made yoghurt and jams and excellent bread. Corinne and Benoit work really hard to make everyone feel at home and they fully deserve their success. It was so great to stay in a historical village, that remains authentic rather than a tourist trap. As a fan of "It Takes A Thief", I was delighted to discover John Robie's house was just outside the village. Benoit looked after us and took us on day tours, including a hike to the top of the mountain. The location was amazing along with the township which included a number of excellent eateries. The staff and friendly atmosphere were unique. This was a stay that was like nothing else we encountered in France and was a real winner. Friendly helpful host.lovely views.Nice outdoor area for breakfast. Great welcome, room with a view and fabulous breakfasts. The people you ran the hotel. Sat Nav sends you to wrong side of village with a very long, very very narrow access road and you can't get through to the hotel ... but lovely local bloke volunteered and drove car back down and around for us! Ignore Sat Nav at the roundabout and follow the large St Jeannet sign!. wifi signal was quite weak. Room is small and basically equipped - for us it was ok, but for longer stay I would prefer more space. Room cleaning should be automatic, not on request. the room we had was rather small,especially the bathroom. . Small room but I guess that is to be expected given the location. Not for those looking for 5 stars and easy access. Nothing. Nothing.
