The location in the centre of the Beaujolais area was perfect for touring around, lovely countryside to explore as long as you have a car. Only about an hour from Lyon airport. The chateau is set in its own vineyards (producing mostly Brouilly wine) and the rooms have been restored beautifully. Just about the nicest place we have stayed. Very fri

The place is really quite comfortable to relax and have quiet days. The renovation of the castle was very good and the decoration superb. However, even if the village (with restaurants) is not far you cannot avoid to use your car every day. Lauren, the owner, was very kind and the breakfast was great.
