The covered outside veranda is a nice addition with a lovely view down to the lake and over the surrounding countryside. The Dubois couple were extremely helpful and accommodating. The setting and view from the studio, was gorgeous. We really want to return here, hopefully for longer next time.

  Cherbourg is a quaint historic town. The hotel is on the waterfront with a scenic view. We were able to walk to the hotel from the ferry dock. The staff were very friendly and we stayed in an apartment suite with a kitchen and 3 bedrooms upstairs. Bathroom newly renovated and beautiful. Hotel is conveniently located close to main street where all the restaurants are within walki - This was our second stay at the Hotel Chantereyne and once again we couldn't fault it. The staff are helpful and welcoming and have good knowledge of the area. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spotless. We loved the modern bathroom and the superb shower. Also great location, just 5 minutes from the ferry port and the town. All in all a first class hotel.

  A delightful manor house of some age situated down a country lane which had been renovated by Eric and his wife. He was a very good host who previously worked in the software industry. He and his wife both own Harley Davidson motorcycles but are not "bikers".!The rooms were interesting, all results of brocante hunting I should think. It's an excellent venue for those wanting to visit the Cherbourg peni - Eric and his wife were wonderful in their welcome. The room was spacious and very comfortable. There is a bar upstairs whcre you can relax and all Eric asks you do is write down what you have. There is a superb continental breakfast to set you on your way but as we did, we had a nice stroll around the grounds before departing and regrettably after just one night's stay.

  Everything!! From the moment we arrived until the time we left we had a relaxing, enjoyable time. The owners are wonderfully welcoming friendly people. The room(s) were spacious and clean, and the garden was spacious and private. Cannot recommend this place too highly. One felt almost part of the family. The apartments were full of character with plenty of space. City centre was about twenty five minutes walk so no need to worry about taking the car if we didn't need to.

  We liked it very much in this Studio on top floor. We stayed only one night. Great attention to detail. Pascale helpt us a lot in finding a great boulangerie and sent us for a trip west of town to the very end. Nice beaches and little restaurants right at the beach. Would stay there again.
