This is a fantastic retreat for a stay in the countryside and to relax. We only stayed for one night on our way back from Spain to England but should have stayed at least a week. Thomas is the perfect host and very welcoming. He prepared us a lovely breakfast

Bernard and Louisa were excellent Hosts. Their home was lovely and The Rooms were clean and comfortable. Machecoul is a quaint, historical little town, perfect for a relaxing and romantic getaway. We recommend the continental style breakfast. an assortment of breads, yogurt and Louisa's home made coffee cake.

We loved the Chateau itself and were overwhelmed by the service provided by Madam and her staff. The food was excellent and the wine and history tour most informative. They could not have given us a better service. -
