  Friendly helpful staff interested in providing a memorable stay in the region. Beautiful location with very comfortable rooms. The little balcony off our room was alongside the canopy of a beautiful tree with wonderful light and shade for reading. - Everything!   We travel a lot staying in many beautiful places all over the world and La Bonne Auberge has to be one of our absolute favourites! It's totally unique, peaceful and very romantic, like stepping back in time. The view of the Seine is amazing (look out for the ocean going container ships which dwarf everything around them but pass by very quietly!), the thatched cottages are romantic, delightful and beautifully set out. Our apartment had a small fully equipped kitchen (which we didn't expect) with dishwasher, oven, fridge and microwave. It was lovely to sit on our own terrace with the lawn reaching down to the water's edge. The garden is filled with delightf

Although the person at reception at the Grand Cerf was a little odd, staff at the neighbouring hotel where the spa is located were lovely and allowed us to keep our bicycles in their closed garage.
