  The room was spacious and clean. Staffs at the hotel the restaurant were very kind. All the concerns for our small boy (renting the arm tube for swimming and high chair for dinner & breakfast) made our vacation more comfortable. Swimming pool and wide garden was perfect for a family with a small child. The restaurante is excelente and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a beautiful countryside and about 10 minutes to Amboise

  Stayed in room 14 which is a an upgrade room. Renovations were recently done and I would imagine we were one of the first few to stay in this room. The room was very large (bigger than US hotel rooms for sure) with a queen bed and two leather chairs along with a desk and a bureau (and TV). All the amenities provided. The location is great as its near the castle and the main walking street with all the cafes an - - Excellent location within the Loire Valley (Amboise is quite picturesque and charming) and adjacent to Royal Chateau Amboise; lots of shops/restaurants mere steps from hotel - easy access driving to chateaux in Loire Valley; free parking nearby - clean rooms; spacious for European standards - helpful staff; desk clerks spoke English well - good assortment at breakfast (breads, meats/cheeses, fruit, yogurt, coffe/tea/juice) in nice reatuarant with attentive staff - reasonable price
