  It was very close to the airport, but it must have been off the main flight- path, because we never heard a plane. The pool was lovely, and the room was very comfortable. This is an excellent option for those arriving late or departing early from Marseille airport, otherwise there is nothing to do in Vitrolles. The hotel staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are immaculately clean and relatively big. I had booked 2 standard rooms for a family of 4, and it was a nice surprise that the rooms we were given were connected, I did not know that such option existed
